A healthy immune system is your number one defense against COVID-19. The four most important elements to boosting your immune system are 1) getting your sleep, 2) eating healthfully, 3) getting enough exercise, and 4) managing your stress levels. Massage therapy addresses two of these: sleep and stress levels, and can help keep your muscles toned. But, who do you trust?
During this critical time, only two appointments are taken per day so that the appropriate measures for cleaning and disinfecting the space have the time to actually work, and even the air is sanitized. Every surface in my office is cleaned and disinfected before and after every client. The linens are not only washed, but sanitized. Every precaution is being taken to keep you (and me) healthy and well.
If you are self-isolating, virtual help is available. FaceTime consultations for pain, anxiety, distance healing through Reiki and Yoga are available.
Has your body become less comfortable to live in? Are certain movements less easy than they used to be? Frustrated because the results of that expensive massage lasted just an hour?
Want long lasting results? This is what my clients have to say:
“My opinion of massage was that it was something nice to reward yourself with, and it was meant to only make you feel good for that hour of “zen” away from the boss, the bills and traffic . . . That’s until I met Janet. After my first treatment with Janet I not only felt good for an hour, but I felt BETTER. Like I was healing. The healing continues still.” Randi Foust
“. . . after the massage you gave me (many years ago), I had my best ever audition and literally kicked myself in the face because my extension was so awesome. I think about the massage and the results and I am very grateful. I know I gave you a huge tip and it made you uncomfortable, but I knew the value of your work and felt comfortable. Thank you!” Rachel Lieberknecht (professional dancer)
“I was struggling with pain in my lower back and hip for about 7 years. It impacted my life, as far as walking any distance, gardening, recreational activities and daily functioning. Over the years I found some relief after numerous therapies and programs I tried, but I was still quite limited. Since I found Janet Lawlor I have become much more active, without fear of the pain returning. With her massage, bodywork and exercises, I literally got my life back! I am totally grateful!” Marlene Miller
Welcome to my Website! If you’re looking for a Board Certified Bodywork Therapist, you’ve come to the right place. Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork is the highest voluntary credential a massage therapist can obtain within the profession. By becoming Board Certified, I represent a community of therapists who have gone above standard educational and work experience requirements with a dedicated and lifelong commitment to continuing education.
In addition to being Board Certified, I am also a Certified Posture & Pain Specialist, and am often the last resort after all other medical and/or complimentary services have failed with an outstanding success rate of more than 90% in reducing pain and improving range of motion, sometimes in as little as one session. Why live with pain and dysfunction when you don't have to?
Thanks for visiting, and have a great day.
